Who are we?

We are Felix and Alina Biriescu, a brother and sister team from Timisoara, Romania. We have five years’ experience with harvesting, collecting, and selling truffles in Romania, and the whole of Europe. We have a strong work ethic and we perform every step of the process ourselves—from training the dogs to harvesting and storing the truffles, from selling the truffles to shipping them all over Europe and USA.

How do we find truffles?

When it comes to finding truffles in the wide forests of Romania, our dogs are of invaluable help to us.We started out with only two dogs, but have increased their number to presently twelve. As demand for our truffles rises, we will further augment their number.

What are our products?

During the truffle season we sell Tuber Aestivum, Tuber Uncinatum and Tuber Magnatum.

We also make truffle products, from pesto and truffle butter and oil, to truffle infused honey. We also make truffle pasta, which is produced in collaboration with an Italian business founded on the same values as ours – a small family enterprise selling regional, handmade products.

Our business was founded with the aim of lifting the long-forgotten, buried treasure of Transylvania, the mushroom that was once sold on Europe’s markets in large numbers. The rare species we offer  (tuber magnatum) and the high quality of our products has already brought us the approval and loyalty of private customers and professional dealers. Our passionate commitment and decades of experience have turned our business into one of the top truffles dealers in Eastern Europe.
